Since its creation, Management has been a key part of the University’s teaching and research portfolio.  Our activities aim to benefit business and society by informing policy and management practice. They are founded on academic excellence in Accounting & Finance, Business & Organisation, Economics and Marketing and we are committed to being at the forefront of research, teaching and learning in each of these areas. Established in October 2008, the School is part of a wider strategy to further develop the University’s research strengths and to promote its very successful academic programmes.

 

How Does the School Use its Research?

The School is committed to a research-led approach in all of its activities through: research programmes, knowledge transfer partnerships, industry-specific postgraduate programmes and management development programmes which encompass both local and international communities.
